Our goal is to empower individuals to build successful communities and bright futures. We work with community partners to solve problems and improve lives through teaching, research and outreach efforts. Our collaborations strengthen education, health, the economy and quality of life for local and statewide residents.
Cultural activities are an important part of building our community. Our university offers many programs that educate and entertain students and other residents. We invest in arts and culture and are dedicated to enriching our campus and community.
Our global engagement activities focus on international education and research to serve our community and the world. Our services for international students include document processing, advising and student programming. We also manage agreements with international institutions in over 50 countries, including reciprocal exchange programs.
Texas A&M's Leadership and Engagement department supports the Leadership Minor Program and oversees the Public Policy Internship Program, Texas A&M University Press and Texas Real Estate Research Center. These programs provide high-impact learning opportunities, connect writers with book publishing and advance real estate research.
Entrepreneurship Programs
Texas A&M encourages start-ups and business development. We empower people to solve problems by moving their innovations from the laboratory or studio out into the world.
Our McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship often launches new entrepreneurial offerings. Its initiatives and programs broaden our university's reach and ability to work with entrepreneurs around the world.
At the new Aplin Center, expected to break ground soon, we will rethink the connections between product development and entrepreneurship. It will allow us to offer new academic programs in business and agriculture, including degrees in hospitality, hotel management and viticulture.
