Graduate schools focus on building technical expertise in a specific area of study and offer master’s degrees and doctorates. Professional schools, such as vet school and medical school, focus on preparing students for careers through more real-world application and offer professional degrees.
Application Materials and Deadlines
Most graduate information is specific to our different colleges and schools and their programs. Make sure to reach out to the department you’re applying to for specific admissions information, such as deadlines and required documents.
The application process may also differ depending on your admission type: domestic graduate or international graduate.
View all graduate and professional programsThe $65 fee (in addition to a centralized application service processing fee) is required to process an application for admission. This fee may be waived only in exceptional cases for low-income applicants and McNair Scholars.
FEE WAIVERSYou must submit transcripts from all colleges or universities attended (excluding community colleges) for review via the respective application service. If you are admitted and intend to enroll, you must provide an official transcript directly to the Office of Admissions before you can register for classes. You do not need to submit a Texas A&M transcript, but you may be asked to upload one to the centralized application service.
SUBMITTING TRANSCRIPTS AND RECORDSTest score requirements vary by program. Required test scores should be sent directly from the testing agency. Most scores expire after five years.
